Celestial Dragons
The deities of all draconids who brought the firsr dragons and their kin in being. Revered as constellations of stars in the night sky they embody all the values that dragons and their kin respect the most.
In the realms of the gods they interact little with the other deities of men, dwarves, elfs and jotnar. Many see the celestial dragons as threats or prizes worth fighting and dying for in order to prove themselves.
Doumu
Mother of dragons and the heavens above. She birthed all dragons into this world from one clutch of eggs. She is loving but distance towards her children. She showed them many of the wonders in the world and how to overcome adversities. Yet now, no matter how hard one might pray, she rarely if ever answers. She saw that greed, violence, hatred and desire had corrupted her children. Led them to do terrible things, even now when they ask for aid she sees the intent in their hearts. She remains high up in the heavens watching and waiting for the world to return to what she left it as. She embodies the value of life, caring, fertility and the personification of Yang.
Pangu
He seperated Yin and Yang from one another creating both the earth and heavens. He forged the lands as we know them, carved rivers, sculpted mountains, planted forests and filled the seas. He is respected for his love and care for both nature and creation. For without Pangu the land of mortals and gods would not be seperate. The World Tree, Yggdrasil, Mimameidr, The Tree of Life. Where all the realms of mortals, gods, fey, primordials, giants and the dead are connect was his final creation. He then entered into an eternal slumber, none know when he may awake to continue his work. He brings the values of craftsmenship, nature, light and diligence.
Xiwangmu
The goddess of war, magic, death, and immortality. She is the dark, chthonic goddess, pure yin, at the same time terrifying and benign, both creation and destruction. The counterpart to Doumu's loving life giving nature, she brought the darkest of virtues to her children. They cry out to her in times of desperation and strife. Unlike Doumu she is always present, always willing to offer her gifts to those who want it the most. Her name is chanted from the voices of all Lõngzhū that march to war.
Yanwang
Ruler of the draconic underworld, he personifies the unification of Yin and Yang. For in death the heavens and earth matter no more, all life and souls attain the same peace. He diligently watches over the souls of all draconids that pass through his gates. He treats every soul equal no matter what they were in their previous life. A peasant and emperor are the same to Yanwang, what matters is the virtue of their soul. He embodies the ideals of passing and rebirth, order and stability, knowledge and wisdom.
