The orcs are back in town

General Summary

Thane Bjorn dropped us off at Pantana, and we agreed to meet him at the Hammer at the first spring moon. We are going to have so many things to do before then. Not to mention the city we've been dropped off at is under invasion by the orcs.

What should we do?

Seriously. If we leave the Prism there, it will be looted and the orcs will have an amazing ship to sail around, but it won't sail upriver where we need to go. After much discussion, we decided to offer the seafolk 500 gold to sail our ship and meet us at the Hammer when we meet Bjorn where we will pay them another 500 gold.   We row the boat into the port, barely making it because Cap brought his cow! We attempted to stealth in, but for some reason a cow does not stealth well and we are attacked by a group of orcs raiding the village. A swift flurry of blows are exchanged, at some point a lamp post is knocked down. I maintain that lamp post was not really a lamp post. Through it all, the cow lived. It nearly died, but he lived. At the end of the fight, Cap healed his cow while Marcus ran ahead.   We barely escaped being pressed into defending the city with the city guard, but as we walked through the city parents asked us to save their children.   We can't turn down young children. I don't know how we're going to do this, but we gather up 18 kids with us. The oldest is seven years old and the youngest is two.   We pulled up short, and looked over the distance and saw the guard fighting the orcs at the city wall.   "How are we going to get past that?" Torsatra said.   A young boy pulled on Cap's sleeve, "If you can, there's a place you can get under the wall. I used to sneak out there to hunt frogs."   "Show us where it is," Cap answered. We followed the boy and snuck out through the wall.   Now we have 18 young children, the majority under 5 following us. This will be hard to get the kids through the mountains.
