Seafolk

The Seafolk are a loosely organized group living on the Northern lands of the continent. Their lands are known for being cold and hostile. The land is rocky and most is not suitable for farming. As a result they rely primarily on trade and raiding to obtain the food and materials they need. While their soil is not conducive for farming, it has many minerals and other ores, leading the Seafolk to be known for their blacksmithing.
Seafolk are known to be good sailors, and will sail into storms and waters ships from most other countries won't head into. The only other sailors to truly give them a run for their money are the Alorians.
There is a not so friendly rivalry between Aloria and the loosely organized Seafolk. Many of the raiding Seafolk see capturing an Alorian ship as the utmost prize due to the difficulty in gaining one.
