Western Electrum

Western Electrum is the name of the largest caravan company that travels the lonely road to Fartown. They were fundamental in the founding of the town and have the Glendis and Farnier families as investors. The man responsible for the company currently is Walter Hroddan, a dwarven ex adventurer from Capital city. Walter established Western Electrum after he discovered the electrum deposits hidden in the mountains while on an expedition in the old forest. After his return to the Capital he quickly secured investment and led a much larger group back up the lonely road to begin harvesting the blue gold.
Western Electrum remains the main trading company that operates in Fartown, with a caravan coming to pick up an electrum shipment every two weeks. They also bring in supplies such as medicine, tools and other essentials to the remote town. Being an ex adventurer Walter has great respect for the guild, and his caravans are willing to transport items out to adventurers for a fee, provided they aren't too large.
