Day
Cultures and ethnicities are simply called by the land they come from, as to avoid confusion. As such, people from The Land of Day are simply called 'people from The Land of Day'. There are other demonyms used, such as 'the Sunkissed'. These much less common demonyms generally come from common traits, such as tan skin or dark hair.
While there are variations, the most common appearance of one of the people from The Land of Day includes black hair, tan skin, and birch-colored eyes. The strong work ethic in this culture often leads to the people, especially those who go out on expeditions to gather food, being very fit.
Children who wish to participate in expeditions, farming, or home matters are encouraged to become tour guides until they're old and mature enough to join their elders with minimal dangers or interruptions. The children are not expected to become tour guides, but it often releases their pent-up excitement, allowing them to focus on important things like studying and otherwise readying themselves for their futures.
The people of The Land of Day learn to steal things when they're young. They learn to sneak around while they're young. This benefits them, should they be forced into wartime, for they know how to sneak attack their enemies, even if they don't know what they're learning in times of peace. Their chaotic, thieving ways are often used to pull others from dark depths. While they may be uncivilized to other cultures, they just have their own way of doing things. As long as no one gets hurt, there's no harm done, and if people are helped, then it's positive, no matter what ethics from other cultures are broken. That being said, some things such as murder are completely impermissible.
While being distinct to the people of The Land of Dusk, many from The Land of Day live among them, mixing their cultures. While not at the present, there may be a new culture formed from this mix. People have called this potential culture 'Dawn'. One of the most common ideas for how this culture would act would include the dress and names of the people of The Land of Day and the gender roles of the people of The Land of Dusk. While just a theoretical, there have been discussions between the government leaders of the two cultures to section off a portion of each land so the new culture can have their own territory to grow and evolve without any oppression that could possibly occur.

Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The only language commonly spoken by the humans from The Land of Day is simply 'Human'. The dialect they speak is called the 'Day Dialect'. This dialect consists of more pronounced vowels and a quicker and smoother flow of words, especially those with a lot of consonants. Due to the quick flow of words, it's often difficult for those with other dialects to understand this dialect.
Shared customary codes and values
Most generic, moral values apply to their culture. The main difference to this is the tolerance of thievery. Stealing things is alright as long as you return it within 1-3 business days, less than an hour if the stolen item could negatively affect the health of the person being stolen from by being absent. Any longer than this, even by a minute, and the thief will be charged with robbery. If the person stolen from dies from the loss of their stolen item when or shortly after it is stolen, the thief is also charged with murder. If the item being stolen negatively affects the employment of the person it is stolen from while it is gone, the robbery charge is harshened. If the item stolen can be proven to negatively affect the health of the person it is stolen from, then the thief is encouraged to help the person go through a healthy withdrawal or whatever else is needed to aid the person affected by this negative item.
Average technological level
They're about as advanced as crop rotation, but their farming practices are small, for they're mainly hunter-gatherers, farming just enough to keep them relatively in one place. They have not, however, made any advances in firearm technology because they don't have enough wars to need any advanced weapons. They have, however, gotten longbows from The Land of Dusk in order to make hunting easier through the ability to shoot heavier attacks from greater distances.
Common Etiquette rules
While etiquette is very minimal, some of the few points of etiquette include punctuality, not sharing other people's personal details, be respectful to others, do not assume personal details such as gender, and always return what you've borrowed/stolen on time or before.
Common Dress code
Generally, people wear loose, very covering clothes made out of breathable materials, usually in pastel colors, so that overheating can be mitigated in the day-to-day life.
Foods & Cuisine
People from The Land of the Day have meat-heavy diets. Non-meat products are generally imported from The Lands of Dusk and Night. Some of the fruits and vegetables grown in The Land of Day include: okra, peppers, cowpeas, pomegranates, figs, and tuna (the fruit, not the fish).
Common Myths and Legends
Most of the people from The Land of the Sun believe in the gods of strings, but there are some who believe in the gods of time. There isn't as much value placed on religion in The Land of the Sun as there are in other lands, so there are very few public religious practices.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Lean, muscular. Long, black hair is generally seen as attractive. That being said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what one person may find attractive might be repulsive to another.
Gender Ideals
Men are expected to go out to hunt and gather food. Women, on the other hand, generally take care of things at home, including many government affairs. Those who do not fit into either of these boxes are not necesarily expected to do either and can choose whichever role they wish to fill.
Courtship Ideals
Those in romantic relationships generally share the resouces they obtain on their expeditions or craft in their spare time with their partner before placing their extras in the communal bin. While it may not be exclusive to romantic relationships, the sentiment changes with the change of the relationship dynamic.
