Faeryn Amathael was a Paladin of the Holy State of Camae and a key member of the Agrammon International Investigation Agency during their investigation efforts within Republic of Phabe.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Light on his feet from years of training, Faeryn manages to keep a toned physique rather easily. He tends towards the not-so heavy medium armors, given his somewhat willowy stature, usually embelleshed with a few decorative flairs.

Facial Features

A thin, diagonal scar over the corner of his mouth, and across his cheek. One ear has a small tear in it. His appearance can be described as youthful.

Personal history

Faeryn Amathael was born to a house of military repute in Phabe’s trade hub, Myn Nalore. The third of six siblings, Faeryn was not entitled to an inheritance, nor was he in line to take over any of the family’s holdings. Despite his disadvantages, Faeryn always held his head high and harbored no ill will toward any of his siblings; in fact, Faeryn would always encourage his older brothers and sisters and find any way he could help them in their own endeavors, often ignoring his own needs or interests for their sake.
In 1493, Faeryn was requested to fulfill his obligatory military service and was sent to train with the Phabe National Military. Faeryn’s ability to quickly read his sparring partners’ movements and react accordingly earned him a place on Phabe’s elite Bladedancer unit — a group compromised of lightly-armored soldiers skilled in single-blade combat. Faeryn took great pride in his station, often staying up late into the night practicing dueling techniques.
When the War of the Red Dragon began in 1497, the Republic of Phabe called upon all Phabean citizens trained in military combat to report for military duty in an effort to fight back the Red Dragon and her Red Dragonborn soldiers. Faeryn’s eldest brother, Altair, was recruited in this method and was assigned to Faeryn’s Bladedancer unit under the command of Orist Iandan. Iandan was a high-ranking noble from one of Phabe’s more prominent houses but carried little military expertise.
Iandan led the Bladedancer unit into combat on the Red Dragon’s island in a short-sighted attempt to bring a quick end to the war. With no previous experience fighting Dragonborn, the Bladedancer unit quickly found itself overwhelmed and outmatched. Iandan ordered a hasty retreat, prioritizing moving out officers under his command before securing the safety of other soldiers. Amidst the retreat, Faeryn and his brother were caught by surprise by a group of Dragonborn. The two fought side-by-side, with Altair falling in combat after he lowered his defenses while striking a Dragonborn that was about to attack Faeryn. With his brother’s sword and shield in hand, Faeryn continued his retreat to the rendezvous point and safely returned to Phabe.
Faeryn would continue to stay in the employ of the Phabean military throughout the War of the Red Dragon, but his resentment for his noble-born superiors was no secret. After the close of the war, Faeryn left the Phabe National Military and traveled north to the Holy State of Camae. In Camae, Faeryn joined the Holy Paladin Order, based on his combat expertise and experience from the war. He was an instant fit within the Order and was loved by his peers, though many saw a latent darkness within him.
Faeryn was eventually dispatched to serve as one of the personal guards for Grammoth Silverhand, the Chief Architect for the new Dwarven City of Agrammon. While there, he would brief Titania Lumere on the activities from both the Iantris faction and the Rowdy Boys and advise her on how to proceed. When tensions within the city ended and the city was left in a state of rebuilding, Faeryn was asked by Chief Architect Silverhand to accompany the newfound Agrammon International Investigation Agency to his home nation of Phabe so that he may assist in apprehending Ezreal Iantris, the mastermind behind the attacks in Agrammon.
