The Briar Lilly Prophecy: Second Half
Twin Lilies bloom on Holly branch, as light and shadow interwine
One sunward meets the dawning rain, the other choked by shadowed vine
Garden born but mire bred, the crawling tendrils climb.
Spreading seeking sunlight sateing, Bitter hatred long awaiting,
Autumn’s now upon us turning, hear the Reaper? See the signs?
Twisting creepers choke rebellion, wrapped round necks and leaving blind,
Blackened briars carve the heartwood, tendrils piercing heart and mind
Trim the bud of vile bloom, the bane of elven kind.
