Basic Information

Anatomy

Humanoid, 3-5 ft tall, stocky and sturdy builds, low center of gravity, very strong livers, thick bones.

Biological Traits

Most of the secondary sexual charictaristics mimic that of humans, but there is less dimorphism in body shape, and women tend to have varying amounts of fine facial hair- from braided sideburns to full beards.

Growth Rate & Stages

Child until around 15, adolescent until they reach maturity around thirty. Can live up to around 300 years, showing signs of old age at around 200 and gradually having more difficulty of movement due to denser bones and weaker muscle.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Dwarven physiology can take most things a human can, but requires a number of minerals that are varying levels of toxic to humans, or considerably larger in dose than is healthy.

Primarily native to the Forgelands, but members occupy most of the integran continent to a greater or lesser degree.

Civilization and Culture

History

Brought to the world of Tier'akan by a malfunctioning dimensional ship, they were captured and enslaved by the fire giants of The Forgelandswithin a generation. This lasted for a time, before the Gnomish peoples came together to assist and helped organize a revolution that brought down the governing structures and enforced equality at the end of a blade. Since then they have come to be a part of the three founding races of the Forgelands, and many have integrated into the other nations of the Integran Continent.
