Personal history
As a Gray Elf I, Daegolor Cúlthalion, haven been living under the ground directly above one of the most central places of the Underdark, where Drow population was highest, at least the time. As Gray Elves come from mating of regular sun elves and Drows they could live near eachother without too much trouble. Our kingdom was quite close to the surface, closer than most kingdoms of gray elves would be at least. With the highest towers of the palace and governing building coming above ground for about at least a dazzling 30 meters it is quite exception. This also caused for some Gray Elves to start preferring living above ground rather than underground. My parents were two of those. They were also against the collaboration with the Drow and therefore found an organisation which was against our main operators and mainly, against the Drow. The main plan was sending few scouts to the Underdark, in disguise of course. Special cloaks were designed and people were dipped in a mixture of charcoal and special wax, of which I am still uncertain what it was. My father and mother were both scouts, not at the same time ever course since I had to be taken care of as I was still relatively young, around 66 years, not an adult in any case. In the mean time my life was very good actually. We were a very wealthy family and had everything we needed. I even got archery classes above ground which was a huge deal to me. My teacher was Aiwin Balric, a very talented archer. I don’t reckon he was killed in the war that followed shortly after my 3rd year in archery class, since he was not part of the scouts. Either way, a war followed shortly after our emperor discovered the secret organisation and felt obliged to inform the Drows of the existence. The scouts that were out at that time were killed immediately and quickly discovered, including my mother. My father got to be alive a little while longer than that. He didn’t die a fortunate death either though. As you could imagine, a big part of the Gray Elves and Drow quickly turned against us. Yes us. All family members and friends of the organisations member were seen a the enemy too. The first big war was about to start very soon. My father handed me a notebook in the midst of all chaos which contained parts of maps of the underworld, but more importantly, a map of the Ascaige woods; a big, mainly undiscovered and unexplored area. It was said to be home to many rare creatures. After waving my father goodbye I saw an iron spear split his skull straight through the middle. I ran. Not one time have I run as fast as then. The Ascaige woods lay to the North of our former city and as I discovered was home to a peculiar oasis, invisible from the outside but not too small actually. Upon arriving in this place there were many fey, at least for our understanding. I may only have been 20 but me being on my own this seemed like a lot. They taught me their language and left me to roam free and practise my archery whilst teaching myself how to make bows.
The war between our former people had kept going and was still ongoing. After a few years I went back to fight for our people only after a few months there was barely anything left to fight for. I went back to the fey but since I had grown quite a bit since first arriving there they weren’t the same towards me anymore. I travelled further North and did quite a bit of exploring if I may say so myself. This also caused me to learn some languages through my experiences and eagerness to learn.

He remains mainly loyal to the belief in Corellon Larethian, but has come to know so many gods and cultures that he respects all and remains loyal to a mix of his most popular beliefs which also includes a lot of the beliefs of the Obad-Hai. The nature God that he has come to know over time on his journey.
Taboos
He prefers not to talk about some imperfections in his appearance. Hence his little piece of skin sticking out near his belly button. He also does not want his middle name mentioned ever (Sanluna) which is derived from Moonblood referring to the blood he shares with the Drow.
