Sirise, goddess of strategy

As the Elemental Lord and Lady of Fire and Water quarreled and bickered, their conflict started to agitate the divine material with which they worked. The more they fought, the more this material absorbed their anger and conflict, and eventually, it started to feed upon it; in a spectacular blast of divine spark, Voreador and Sirise sprung forth, giving form and sentience to their rivalry, but each representing a different side of conflict. Voreador became the god of war, and wherever he walks, strife and woe follow, while his sister Sirise became the goddess of strategy and honorable combat. The two of them immediately began fighting, an eternal war that will never end, as neither brother nor sister can accept the other’s views on battle.   Religion and Dogma: Wherever her foolish brother treads, Sirise instructs her priests to follow and attempt to smooth over old rivalries and end conflicts. Most major treaties in Thyr were signed with a priestess of Sirise present, likely having assisted in writing it. They are master diplomats and peaceful negotiators.   Temples to the Wise Lady of Battle are usually not found far from her brother’s churches, and they are similar to Voreadorite temples in their sparse and utilitarian nature, but they use more stone and marble in their construction. Every temple has a room with a large table and tapestry hangers for signing treaties, and planning strategies for an upcoming battle. Sirisian priests favor chainmail and shields, believing that defending themselves initially in a conflict is the best approach, but they are by no means loathe to fight, they simply choose to do so as a last resort. Sirisian priests are just as proficient in combat as their Voreadorite counterparts.   Many kingdoms will work with the Sirisian priests to ensure their battle plans are sound, and for their part, the Peacemakers work diligently to ensure that if there is going to be war, that it ends quickly with minimal loss of life. They tend to favor strategies that are decisive, and do not drag out a conflict, and frown upon the use of cruel tactics, such as poisoning water supplies and using disease vectors.   Oddly enough, the hobgoblins have a minor tradition of following the Peacemaker, but only in the name of creating sound battle strategies; they understand the importance of a good battle plan, and are pragmatic enough to keep small shrines to Korlobe in their strategy rooms for minor offerings during a war meeting.   Her symbol is a scroll tube, with a hand holding one side and another open hand waiting to receive it on the other end.   Appearance: Sirise appears as a woman clad in silver armor, a simple silver diadem adorning her brow. Her eyes are piercing and blue, and she holds a scroll in one hand, and a shield in the other; she has a thin-bladed longsword at her side, which she only draws as a last resort.
