Sazi, god of chaos

Sazi is nothing more than the chaos having gained sentience after the elemental lords were extracted from the roiling potential; Sazi decided immediately that the world as it stood was entirely too balanced, and therefore utterly boring. The conflict between the Elemental Lords had been largely quelled by the task of creating Thyr, so Sazi decided that creating new and exciting ways to disrupt the status quo would be the best use of its chaotic talents.

 

Sazi has made himself personally responsible for ensuring that Thyr remains an excitingly random place, so he busies himself with causing mischief and trickery wherever he goes. He is unpredictable, and no one can guess his agenda or where he will next appear. He often injects himself as a ‘greek chorus’ forcing his targets to examine what they are doing far more closely than they ever intended or wanted. Sometimes he seems to be trying to teach a lesson, other times, he’s simply interfering for the sake of interference.

Sazi is believed to be the most powerful deity other than Xassalt and the Three, because he can create his own version of reality, which he uses at a whim. Xassalt doesn’t seem to mind or have any concern for Sazi’s existence, and is satisfied letting him do as he wishes; sometimes she seems to even be amused by the Trickster’s activities. Sazi even targets other deities in his schemes, and many have sworn to kill him, especially Kalusi. For his part, Sazi is completely unphased.

Religion and Dogma

Sazi has no religion or dogma; most worshippers of the Chaos god make things up as they go along, and any two believers will have completely different approaches to how they worship him. Sazi has no set holy symbol.

Sazi does have self-proclaimed worshippers and nearly every Thryian swears oaths by Sazi's name. A common Thyrian blessing goes "May Sazi never look ill upon your endeavors."

Appearance

Sazi has no set appearance, he can appear as a jester, a beggar, a paladin, a whore, a bard, or a noblewoman.

Chaos Sazi can be worshipped, but he does not grant any spells to his followers.
