Kalusi, goddess of hatred

When Mirith was created from the chaos, the effect she had on others had a darker side, and as she emerged from the chaos, she split into two twin sisters, though they are most certainly not identical. Kalusi was the diametric opposite of her sister in every way, fostering resentment and anger towards others, and especially feeding off of Zohronox’s feelings towards the rest of the pantheon. The Goddess of Hatred was born.   Known for holding grudges and always seemingly angry at everything, this goddess is the embodiment of hatred and loathing; she is often invoked by Thyrians as a derogatory swear: “Kalusi take you!”   Religion and Dogma: The Kalusite faith is not very popular in most cities, so her temples are typically found underground or shrines in secluded back alleys. They feature harsh angles and dark, narrow corridors, and dim lighting. They host torture chambers and other objects of violence, which the clergy readily loans out to those seeking revenge or acting on a grudge.   Her followers typically encourage vengeance for the smallest of slights, and offer to assist in answering insults; Kalusite priests counsel people to settle their grievances in any way possible, and that violence is the most efficient and effective path. They preach that hate is the strongest of emotions, and that there is much power in that emotion, power that can be used to crush the target of their hatred. They try to perpetuate a never ending cycle of revenge and response to that revenge; they see hatred as a circle: vengeance begets vengeance.   Her priests favor studded leather in blacks and ruddy browns or ochre colors, and are usually clad in hooded cloaks. They will typically hide their holy symbols under their clothing, but in areas where her worship isn’t frowned upon, they may add a smaller symbol to a shoulder pad or weapon hilt.   Her symbol is a skull without the jawbone, with two crossed daggers piercing the top, and the blades protruding from the bottom. In the center of the skull’s forehead is a drop of blood.   Appearance: Kalusi appears as a beautiful woman with short, unkempt black hair, and orange pupils burning within black eyes, her race depends on to whom she is appearing. Though she seems to be as beautiful as her sister, her allure is marred by forehead lines from a constantly furrowed brow, and a mouth and eyes completely lacking in smile lines. She wears studded leather armor that is well weathered and dulled from frequent use, and her hands seem to be stained ruddy from being constantly soaked in blood, as her favored way of killing the target of her animosity is with her bare hands.
