Zrytsa
Career
Qualifications
Only women are zrytsas, and all known zrytsas have some form of physical disability or handicap. This is thought to be the price of their supernatural and/or spiritual abilities.
Perception
Purpose
To commune with and interpret the will and intentions of the gods through prophetic visions, dreams, omens and portents.
Social Status
Highly revered and held in great esteem amongst the Junn Harr peoples. A plemya or tribe with a zrytsa is considered very blessed by the gods.
Demographics
The exact number of zrytsas amongst the Junn Harr is not known, but it is thought that they are as few as one in every 2,500 Junn. Perhaps one tribe out of four will have a zrytsa amongst its number.
