Stannard Graymer

Captain Stannard Graymer

Stannard Graymer is the son of the Briar of Normar, Myron Graymer. He is the leader of a troop of Lancers tasked by the Duke of Hekmo, Turl am Nari, to raid and harrass farms and villages across the border with Colo as often as possible. Stannard leads his 28 mounted ruffians into the frontier regions of Colo as many as five times a campaign season.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Stannard is a massive man, standing fully 6'6" with a barrel-chest and broad shoulders. He has long dark hair that he wears loose and keeps his beard neatly trimmed.

Apparel & Accessories

Stannard wears some of the finest armor available in the entire Duchy. He acquired it while competing in a tournament at Scaram more than ten years ago by defeating the Baron of Cyell, Fulton am Bondari, in a grand melee event. Traditionally, Stannard would have allowed the Baron to ransom the armor back after losing the match, but Stannard opted to spite the Baron and keep the armor, which probably cost the Baron more than 200 guilders to have made. Baron Fulton has not forgotten the slight.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

A shameless sycophant of the Duke and his son, Stannard is more than willing and quite capable of doing nearly any task assigned to him, including brigandry and and murder.

Vices & Personality flaws

Stannard genuinely seems to enjoy routinely raiding and attacking villages and farms all along the Colo frontier, regardless of the cost in innocent life and property. He and his men can dependably be counted on to kill as many as a dozen innocent Colians each raiding season while they steal a fortune in cattle, horses and gold, all to further the Duke's political agenda.

Social

Contacts & Relations

A close associate of Lord Torum am Nari and a favorite lacky of Duke Turl am Nari.

Family Ties

The son of Briar Myron Graymer and the seeming heir to his title as Briar of Normar
