Lord Renard Dechateone

Renard Dechateone is the only son of Ranald Dechateone and his first wife, Liliane Dumont, the Count and first Countess of Dunmor.  He is a 40-year-old Human that is immensely obese.  He actively avoids any and all physical excertions, even adopting to live outside his father's immense estate of Castel Chateone and instead residing in a small, single-story but very well-appointed cottage simply to avoid using stairs of any kind.
As the heir to the House of Dechateone titles and fortunes, his duties are many and quite demanding.  Renard has an amazing intelligence and has proven to be incredibly adept at running the vast and varied family interests.  He speaks Caldarian, Fangorian, Gnomish, Dwarven, as well as Arian and has a good understanding of Colian.  He is a capable mathemetician and there is no one more familiar or comfortable with the details and workings of the Dechateone holdings than he is.

General Physical Condition

Renard is, to put it plainly, very fat.  So fat, in fact, that he is unable to easily mount and ride a horse.  He has lank, thinning hair and a patchy beard.  He inherited his father's short stature, which makes his 340 lbs that much more difficult to carry around.

Family Ties

Renard is the uncle of the King, Tessian, and has a very good relationship with him.  Tessian was always fond of Renard as a child, and has not allowed that regard to sour as he has aged and come into his throne.
Renard is also very close to his young half-brothers, Dunstan and Lucien.
