Gobannon
Gobannon is the Druidic god of smiths, specifically iron and weapon smiths. He is the first of three "Triplet Gods" born of Dagdo Mar and Ano Mar after the creation of the intelligent races, according to Druidic lore. He lives in a huge cave system that opens out into a deep mountain valley and, as one goes further into his lair, leads deeper and deeper into the earth.
He is depicted in art and craft as a huge humanoid figure with a gray beard and hair and massive, muscular arms and chest. His symbol is his primary tool: the blacksmith's hammer. He forges wonderous and magical weapons that can only be wielded by the strongest and most worthy of mortals.
Gobannon is renowned in Druidic lore as a wise and sage god whose craftsmanship and skill at the forge is only surpassed by his deep intelligence and understanding of the world. Of the Triplet Gods, he is depicted as the oldest and largest.
