His Reverence Giles Allard

Giles Allard is the High Priest presiding over the Greenfield Temple of the Pantheon of Heaven faith. He is a 55-year-old Human originally from the County of Aramor in the Kingdom of Aria but has lived in the Duchy of Hekmo for the last 21 years.

Physical Description

Physical quirks

Due to an injury in his youth, Giles is forced to walk with a cane and even with the cane, he has a pronounced limp.

Apparel & Accessories

Aside from his clerical garb, Giles is always seen to wear a gold pendant around his neck depicting the winged sword of the Order of the Swords of Heaven, a military order of the faith that he was once a part of and still holds a particular favor for.

Personal history

Giles was born to a noble family from the County of Aramor. He is, in fact, the grand-nephew of the Holy Mother of the Daughters of Heaven, Gracelyn Allard, who was the sister of his grandfather. Giles entered the priesthood as soon as he was of age, and quickly moved into the Order of the Swords of Heaven as a novice at the age of only 17.

While on his first official posting to the far southern regions of the Daynmor frontier, the scout unit he was attached to was ambushed by a large group of Orcs. Outnumbered more than two to one, the scouts managed to defeat the Orcs but Giles and another priest were seriously wounded. His injury did not allow him to continue his training with the Swords of Heaven, and he has been forced to walk with a cane ever since.

After leaving the Grand Commandery Demalamor he completed his priestly training and began his career in the Ecclesiarchy of the faith and was given his first priestly assignment in the north of Imesse.
