Gelum (gel-oom)
Gelum is the god of winter and the cold north wind in the faith of the Pantheon of Heaven. He is considered a god of renewal whose cleansing breath removes the detritius of the old, dead seasons of the past and prepares the world for a bright clean spring. He is universally pictured as a bearded old man that blows away the debris of the past with a cold, clear breath. His holy day is known as First Frost and is celebrated on October 10th in most of northern Imesse. Celebrations are with large bonfires in the cold nights while sweetbreads and ices are enjoyed from sunset to sunrise.
Gelum has a particularly large following within the faithful that attend the Greenfield Temple of the Duchy of Hekmo. Within the Temple, Gelum's shrine is the second largest, surpassed only by the shrine of Ayunis himself.
