House of the Iron Spine

This militant House is mostly made up of hobgoblins and half-orcs, though warriors of others races have been known to grudgingly earn the House's respect.

They oversee military operations and national security, though that only concerns external threats - internal threats and maintaining law and order is the province of the Golden Sun instead.

General Lauda: Leader of the House, this hobgoblin holds the highest rank in Thousand's military. A renowned tactician, Lauda is well known for his cunning and ruthlessness - he is not particularly concerned with a kindly public image, shall we say. He is venerated by most hobgoblins, and feared by almost everyone else.
