Those Who Dream By Night

Inspired by the amazing art of Patricia Piccinni, an Australian hyperrealistic sculpture who's art documents a conflicted and nuanced sentiment regarding biotechnology and living beings that might be created along the way. As a biochemist I especially appreciate that her work doesn't necessarily offer an opinion on whether bioengineering is right or wrong; as a human being I especially appreciate the amount of detail and thought that has gone into each work. Some may think her work grotesque, but I think they are softly beautiful.
