Procuration Corporation

Procuration Corporation was founded under the belief that a future where all peoples are out exploring and getting rich off of troves of loot is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, ProCorp is actively developing the franchises and technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling even the simplest farmers to become living legends.
For nearly fifteen years, other people have had things you've really wanted and we've gone over there to get those things, even if they didn't want us to do that. Typically, they don't. But we're being paid by you, not them™. We've procured it all, but we specialize in staves, gems, enchanted jewelries, and storied weapons of great lineage. We do apply a reasonable surtax for wands, because wands. It's been a problem. This is ProCorp in a nutshell:

Structure

The hierarchy of roles within ProCorp is difficult to understand. All franchisees know the owner and founder to be Nathaniel Holt, but further positions near the top are not publicly known. However, among all franchises are a specific set of roles. Each franchise, being comprised of 4 members, includes a Cartographer, Hordes Manager, Decisionist, and Documancer.
The Cartogropher's role seems self explanatory, and it is! It is their job to map the areas the franchise members travel to on their assignments on a special roll of enchanted hide. This roll magically transfers all mapped locations to a "parent map" at ProCorp HQ.
The Hordes Manager's role is to manage and invest the franchise's funds accordingly. They keep track of and inventory all funds and items procured by the franchise and ensure these funds are protected; with some funds being placed back into the franchise location itself to strengthen the brand in its area of operation. The Hordes Manager is also responsible for purchasing any tools or consumables needed for each assignment.
The Decisionist's role is the honor and responsibility to make decisions for the franchise. They do not do so with complete power, as this role could very easily edge out other franchisees if that were the case. Instead, in the event of a tied vote for a decision to be made, the Decisionist's vote counts for two votes.
The Documancer's role is to ensure all documents, contracts, and stationery are being completed and delivered to HQ with complete accuracy. This includes notifying HQ of any information or intel gained during assignments or otherwise that will help further the brand, thus ensuring all members of the franchise receive adequate and accurate payment for assignment completion.

Building a business out of adventuring and placing powerful artifacts into the hands of civilized folk, instead of letting them lay useless in some deep cave somewhere.

History

Founded in 5913 by Nathaniel Holt, the Procuration Corporation seemed to come out of nowhere. Quickly, the business grew with the promise of great wealth as well as discounted magical items to assist franchisees, adventuring franchises began springing up left and right all across Ebren and Ruscal.
