Moon dial

History

The base watch was bought by Remie when he saw it in a charity shop. The face was smashed and the hands rusted so the shopkeeper was surprised that the teenager wanted to buy it but he saw it's potential almost immediately. 
At school, he worked hard to try and fix the watch. Eventually he found a spell that could change it's nature and was able to make it so the watch not only told the correct time again but also so it would recount the phases of the moon and even detect when it's match was near. 
He gave it as a present to Dian Moonbeam that Christmas and he always kept it near him. 

It came into Alfred's possession when Dian was forced to go, afraid of loosing his watch he decided to leave it with his son who has held onto it every since.

Significance

It was an important gift between Remie and Dian Moonbeam for two reasons, one is that it is connected to a ring that Remie kept hold of which means that the two can always tell when the other it near and the other is that it records the phases of the moon so they can always properly plan their adventures.

Raw materials & Components

It is made from a base of an old, cheap wrist watch that has been enchanted with magical properties. The cover also has a small gem in it which forms the connection between the watch and its matching ring.
