Thorn
The lost continent of Thorn was for many centuries only a rumor nearly lost in the deeps of time. Its shores are shrouded in perpetual mist, and it has long been believed by many students of arcane history and cartography that the whole of the continent sometimes slips between the planes and remains inaccessible from greater Faerûn, sometimes for centuries or millennia at a time. Darker rumors hint that Thorn may be a bridge between worlds—

are said to lie somewhere along its shores.
In the south central portion of the continent may be found the cold, desert plateau known as Lengdrathal .Carcosa
Fauna & Flora
The continent is home to a megadiverse sampling of flora and fauna from all major biomes. Recent expeditions have discovered several large marsupial species, formerly thought to be extinct, on isolated islands off the mainland.
There are no known populations of Lizardmen on the continent, and it is speculated that they were wiped out in wars of extermination by the native Hyadean populations in the distant past. More research into Hyadean history is needed to provide a more conclusive answer to this question.
Dragons may be found in their usual habitats across the continent except on or near the Plateau of Lengdrathal a bleak and uncanny landmark which — it is rumored — is universally shunned by dragons and dragonkin and most other wildlife.
Natural Resources
Thorn has abundant mineral wealth as evidenced by early surveys of its northern mountain ranges. The Dwarvish nations, intrigued by the possibility of new mining operations on a nearly untouched continent have launched several expeditions to stake claims and start digging.
Aside from valuable ore and gems, there are vast forests rife with exotic wood and game. And several small fishing villages have been established by human colonists eager to take advantage of the bountiful harvests of fish and other marine life.

I find cool that you specified the continent size. It really gives us some dimension of the thing. I find really amazing that there are so many biomes there, but since I don't know the size of the whole world, I can't judge it. Anyway it's a great job : )
