Reclusive Remnants

Whenever a tragic incident or accident happens there are hushed whispers of the Reclusive Remnants. This shadowy organization has been spoken of within close groups for centuries. No one knows who they are and others claim it doesn't exist. It is rumored though, that some of the more powerful members across the kingdoms are aligned and plotting to invoke some kind of diabolical plan. Through diplomatic, assassinations, and war this group dictate the direction of history.
This all could be brushed off as peasants talking or coincidences by the upper class. It could be argued that there have been cases such as Kingdom of Varden invading neighboring dwarven mountains after a diplomatic meeting with the The Trade Lands. Then exclusively selling obtained minerals to The Trade Lands, which then produces high quality weapons, which are then sold to Kingdom of Varden. That is just good trade and was probably not a planned action.
Another popular idea is how little enforcement there is against the emboldened pirate hordes. Some people have pointed out that at some point they have seen their wares at market after sending them across the sea, almost never hearing from their vessel again.

These are just coincidences in the end. Do not connect anything, because there is nothing to connect. Do not talk about, you will just weird out your friends and family. Your employer would probably fire you too, not worth it. If you do talk about it then you are a jerk. Mur just happened to place and activate warps across the world in Shinnaric, over years probably.
