Great Sea of Thassa

Off the eastern coast of our continent is a vast and unconquerable body of water. Every sentient species of the continent has had some relationship with this ocean, Vetus ruins are also found on islands scattered throughout the sea. Several islands are not far off the coast but today are all rather sparsely populated.
Traveling far to the east, you will begin to find nearly countless islands, but beyond that, or further to the south, is unknown.
