Lady Emmeline Lisbet Duret (a.k.a. Emmie)
Eldest daughter of House Duret, ruling house of Southern Aragoth. A loving, lighthearted girl who has been promised to Lewis Aragoth since they were both twelve. She is at peace with this arrangement, but has recently been questioning it as it seems that he may not grow to love her through this relationship as she had expected. She is a skilled horseback rider and archer and spends much of her time in her family's gardens tending to the creatures within it.

History
As House Duret is one of the most powerful in the kingdom, the royals selected Emmeline as Prince Lewis' future queen early on to maintain relations between them and to ensure continued control over Southern Aragoth in the future. As Lewis is a gay man, he is not particularly thrilled about this arrangement, though he does enjoy Emmeline's company. Emmeline has known for most of her life she would be married off. Her mother married her father in a similar way and their relationship ended up flourishing, so she has been optimistic but as time passes she becomes skeptical of Lewis' ability to grow into loving her once they wed.
