The Royal House of Aragoth (air-uh-goth)

Originated by King Aragoth, the royal family of the Kingdom of Aragoth is known for its prowess in battle. They follow a strict patriarchal structure, the oldest son taking on the crown upon the death of their father. Women are also trained in battle, but this training is seen more as tradition than for real battle. The current Head of House and King of Aragoth is Fletcher Aragoth, his immediate heir is his son Lewis. Branches of the family exist throughout the Kingdom, but only those descended from King Aragoth through his wife are considered members, any descendants through consorts are excluded. Consorts are still allowed within the house but are socially looked down upon, often being hidden from the public.
