Telekenesis
'Telekenesis' is a technology of the ancient Rih'kiel Prime that has been lost to time following the Rih'kiel Calamity. Thus it can be considered a future technology of the HF.
This lost technology is no longer seen in Fortrais, but it allows for the possibility of manipulating matter with just the thought of one's brain. Some machines read the brain signals of the person using it, and these signals are sent to a powerful quantum computer which interprets the brain signals, translating them into machine language (binary). This technology requires various Cybernetic Enhancements involving Replicator nanobots, and a large number of these are stored in the body within the cybernetic implants. These can be released into an object in order to modify it into a new object, performing actions such as bending metal rods by manipulating the atoms of the metal rod. As very very few species have the capability to produce enough energy for some tasks, e.g. lifting an object larger than themselves, the cybernetic implants require an external power source for performing heavy duty tasks. This might be done through adding a special 'charging port' on the person's body, which can receive power through a superconducting channel constructed through the air in a phenomenon reminiscent of electrical arcing. This superconducting channel is guided and steered through the air in a way that is not known to the HF, but apart from this they would have the technology to re-create telekenesis.
High power applications are not performed through nanobots but with the superconductors. Large amounts of power is diverted through the superconducting channels which creates a very powerful magnetic field through electromagnetism. Depending on the strength of the power source, this can support very large forces but cannot manipulate matter down to the atomic level. Telekenesis has many applications in the military, including destroying large enemy vehicles and obstacles as well as transporting allies as well as the users themselves (assuming they remain in range of the generator for the power to reach them, but it is presumably possible to move the generator in this way, using its own power)
Due to the neurological interference, the technology is highly likely to be limited by the Hyperion Ethics Committee as well. It would be theoretically possible for an attacker to attack a person through the machines that read their mind, invading privacy or possibly allowing the attacker to control their body. The ethics committee would ensure the security of this technology is very advanced, and only few would be allowed to use it legally.
