Magma Templar

Leader title of the Confederation of Psi Kaus.

The PKC has adopted a unique, extremely efficient form of democracy where the government could receive all votes from their people in mere days through cybernetic enhancements. This led to the government being made extremely efficient. As such, new Magma Templars are elected on a more frequent basis than of classical democratic governments so its interests may shift more often. Upon being elected, they would normally serve for around 1-2 years and a single individual can only be re elected at a total of 3 times. After their final term, they may never become a Magma Templar again but it is tradition to hold a public holiday whenever a templar finishes their 3rd term as a celebration of whatever that person did for the PKC to become so popular. This method of democracy also increases the speed at which information reaches various people, and they can be influenced at a faster rate but also informed of correct information at a similarly fast rate. As such, the government puts a large amount of resources to release correct, unbiased information.

The Magma Templar usually lives in a large structure on the Zatenheim homeworld (Psi Kaus IV) called the Magma House. Contrary to its name, lava will flow around the outside of the house rather than magma and the structure has some cultural importance to the zatenheim as it was constructed a very long time ago, though upgraded with more modern technologies, for a very old pre-unification nation of the zatenheim.
