HUA Demolitionist

Profession that is common in Mauray but not seen elsewhere. 
HUA Demolitionists are tasked with taking apart the megastructures on that world, which are made of Hyperunreactive Alloys.  They do this using large, powerful bombs specifically designed to break the alloy. They sometimes can also use large, heavy axes of sorts.

Career

Qualifications

They must know how to find precise weak points and put their bombs or axes there. This makes for the hardest qualification for them to get.  They must also know how to properly use the explosives safely and efficiently.

Payment & Reimbursement

Paid quite well for a working class job.

Perception

Social Status

In some cultures they are respected because they gather the very strong alloy. Other cultures dont like them, for example Eptha.  Regardless, it is a working class job.

As proper PPE has not been invented at the time, they must wear thick clothes that can absorb impacts of small projectiles that are flung away by the explosives.

Workplace

It changes every few months as they are redeployed to a different area on the megastructure to demolish that. Otherwise, it is usually outside.

Dangers & Hazards

The axes and the explosives they often use. Also a more minor hazard is a risk of sunburn.
