Galarnla

A planet located in the Odyros galaxy with a primitive, human civilization inhabiting it. 

The Hyperion Science Association has visited the system many times in order to study the civilization here, but trying to remain out of their sight in order to have no impact on their cultures. Otherwise they might risk causing an immense war and/or a rapid increase of xenophobia. 

The civilization has surpassed its early space age and would normally send rockets to space to send resources and equipment to their colony placed on another planet in the same system, which has conditions surprisingly close to that of their homeworld. This other planet also has life, making it incredibly valuable to study. 

However, they sent so many rockets into space that the planet has been effected by Kessler syndrome. As space junk has accumulated in large quantities in orbit, it has become very difficult to escape the planets orbit without being hit by pieces of space junk. Every artificial satellite has been annihilated and torn apart by space junk collisions, which creates even more space junk. One of the more effective ways to eliminate this hazard is to wait for long enough for most of the scrap to re-enter the atmosphere and burn on re-entry, but this will take a long time. Even the HSA would struggle to land on the planet, as they have to be very careful as to not show any signs of activity to the human civilization. Deflecting space junk with the shields is highly likely to be noticed, as is letting the ships be annihilated by space junk. As such, they must remain in very high orbit, should they want to come to Galarnla. They can Teleport to the surface but again must be careful otherwise the blue flashes released by the teleportation process will be found.
