First Kulallara - Jyara War

A war between the Harkas subspecies on the Kulallara Belt and the Jyara gas giant, within the Beta Targos System system before they unified into the Unified Arkan Council UAC.

Following many 'technological' developments on Jyara, they eventually were able to leave their planet for the first time. Upon first contact with the Kulallara belt, the belt-dwelling Innerworldians threatened the Jyarans to submit, as they saw the gas giant as an excellent place to obtain resources, expand their population and living area, scientific benefits and more. The Jyarans refused surrender, as they thought the space Harkas would not be able to invade their gas giants (the extreme gravity would crush a space harkas body). However, the Kulallara Belt engineered a number of organisms, as well as modifying the harkas themselves, to be able to withstand the extreme conditions. Jyaran espionage discovered this, and so they prepared for defence. Other harkas worlds orbiting Jyara would not dare to attack, as they understood they were weaker than Jyara.

They deployed primarily large, gunship-like organisms that would constantly monitor the nearby area using eyesight and hearing. Infrared and radar detection is suboptimal on Jyara because of the atmospheric heat and atmosphere density respectively, effectively limiting battles to visual range. The Jyaran inhabitants relied more on large platform organisms with no movement capability but much more firepower than the gunships, and managed to field a larger number of these than the Kulallarans fielded gunships. There were also 'infantry' battles between the harkas themselves, as sometimes well-trained harkas can kill platforms or gunships using specialized weapons.

Although Kulallara managed to conquer about 1 third of the world, they eventually spread their forces too thin in attempts to cover the entire gas giant. Their assault ran out of momentum so the Jyaran inhabitants exploited this and inflited heavy casualties upon the invaders. They would not recover from this, and were fought back to orbit. The Jyarans also engineered organisms to target orbital objects, forcing the Kulallara belt forces to retreat from the planet and its system fully. Due to the war, 5 million harkas of either subspecies were killed. With this battle experience, the Jyarans would eventually consider conquest on some of the nearby very small worlds orbiting Jyara in attempts to conquer the Jyara system fully. They took over 4 of the worlds in the end. The Kulallara belt also invaded several of these worlds but were repelled again before the Harkas unification.
