Core of Mauray

The Xadia Ancients artifact located at the core of Mauray that gives everyone magic.
The core itself has never been seen or visited by anyone. There are some who have seen the protective barrier around the core, before gaining incredible magic abilities, but none have ever managed to penetrate the core. It is not known what the core would look like. Additionally, near the lower layers of Mauray there would be almost no gravity at all. There are a number of extremely strong support pillars that hold the various megastructures of the planet up, which take all the pressure from above. If this very low layer was not protected by a shield, dust would collect on the bottom of the world and prevent access to the core barrier.
This shield sometimes shifts its position so that it constantly destroys dust and any particles that reach the bottom. The core is seen by many cultures on Mauray as a house for one of the gods. Outside of some churches, they built replicas of the core, kept as accurate as possible to the real version using magic.
