They came from... Jerbal Bay?!

It’s after War War II and the idyllic white beaches, forests and waterways of Jerbal Bay are a paradise from the chaos of the Cold War. Coastline towns with access to a National Capital, a State Capital and lots of varied geographic types make for a mix of spaces ripe for stories of all types.   This small bay has a naval base the HMAS Drop Bear, it is also home to the HMAS Koala “Intelligence” base and the farmed “Oysters” in all of the country. The National University has a campus here that is renowned for Politics, Aquatic Sciences, Fine Arts and Philosophy. It is an alternate place, seeped in Aussie memories and American cold war culture. You will find "board shorts", "surf culture", and "milkbars" mixing shoulders with "Cold War Scientists", "Rock and Roll", "Big Brother" Warships and other "Pop Culture" icons.   The protagonists are drawn from the locals, the university, government workers, the occasional holiday maker, sailors both civilian and navy, scientists and "foreigners".
