Furthermore, for any wholesale commodity to be sold in the Agora, a sample must first be presented at the goddess's altar for the priests' approval, verifying its quality and suitability.

As you near the Temple of Ephara Agorea, its stately presence commands attention. Unlike its sister temple, this structure blends religious grandeur with practical robustness. The facade is adorned with reliefs depicting scenes of trade and commerce under divine supervision. The entrance is flanked by statues of the Reverent Army, symbolising the temple's role in overseeing fair trade. The bustling energy of nearby markets fills the air, yet a respectful quietude surrounds the temple. The large, sturdy doors are less ornate but convey a sense of security and order, with inscriptions of Ephara's edicts on ethical trade practices.
Inside
Stepping inside, the interior of the temple contrasts sharply with its serious exterior. The vast hall is alive with activity; priests and members of The Twelve busily assess commodities brought before the altar. The space is arranged like a market, with various stalls displaying samples of goods for the priests' approval. The air is heavy with the scents of spices, grains, and other goods. At the centre, a grand altar dedicated to Ephara is draped in fine cloths, upon which samples are reverently placed. The highest priest, often seen in deep consultation with a member of The Twelve, presides over this process from a raised platform, ensuring fairness and adherence to divine principles in trade.
