OVERVIEW
Ectión “Tuxeros” is the most famous and eccentric merchant in Meletis. A self-made man, as he likes to call himself, his wealth is enormous and undoubtedly deserved. His small fleet of ships is awaited by the citizens of the Polis for the exotic nature of his cargoes. He takes risks in business ventures of all kinds and usually wins. He is always willing to finance the most extravagant ventures and adventures, and collects curiosities in his magnificent mansion.
Built on the southwest slope of Meletis with access by a wide ramp decorated with balustrades and statues, the mansion includes huge vineyards of a type of grape that he had brought from a lost island in the Siren Sea and only he cultivates in all of Theros. The fame of this wine is no greater than that of the pegasi he breeds on his estate behind the mansion. Among them is a beautiful white stallion named Alastor.
The mansion itself is a bizarre mix of styles, fabrics, weapons and objects that make it any curious person’s paradise. With a large inner courtyard, the mansion is the scene of parties and symposiums where the best wine flows. Aurora, the young, beautiful wife of Ectión, enjoys hosting her husband’s guests covered with the most beautiful jewels. It is said that Ectión’s good fortune comes from a diamond blessed by Heliod himself and which the young woman wears on occasion. Whether or not it is true, it is not strange that the merchant enjoys the reputation of being blessed by the gods in view of the luck that usually accompanies him.

As you traverse the southwestern slopes of Meletis, your path leads you to the magnificent mansion of Ectión 'Tuxeros', the city's most famous and eccentric merchant. The mansion, perched elegantly on the hillside, is accessible via a wide ramp that is both grand and inviting, adorned with intricate balustrades and statues that speak of wealth and eccentricity. Surrounding the mansion are vast vineyards, stretching as far as the eye can see, their unique grapes a testament to Ectión's adventurous spirit. The vineyards are bathed in the golden hues of the sun, creating a picturesque scene. The estate also boasts a stable for Ectión's famed pegasi, among which the majestic white stallion Alastor stands out. As you near the mansion, its bizarre architectural style becomes apparent – a curious amalgamation of various cultures, each element telling a story of distant lands and daring ventures.

Stepping inside Ectión's mansion, you are immediately immersed in a world of eclectic opulence. The large inner courtyard reveals itself as a center of lively gatherings, with remnants of recent parties and symposiums evident in its setup. The mansion is a collector's dream, with walls adorned with an array of exotic fabrics, unique weapons, and an assortment of objects from across Theros and beyond. Each room you pass through offers a new surprise, a testament to Ectión's love for the extraordinary and the extravagant. You catch glimpses of Aurora, Ectión’s wife, known for her beauty and her adornment of dazzling jewels. Rumors of a diamond blessed by Heliod, worn by Aurora on special occasions, add an air of mystique to the already captivating ambiance.
