Ophis Tower. The tower of the serpent nestles at the center of Setessa. Its wandering warriors travel the world, working on behalf of the Ruling Council. Their leader is Kallias, who was sold into slavery as a child. They lost an eye and several fingers before they were rescued and brought to Setessa, where they have devoted themselves to saving others in a similar plight.

Personal history
She was sold into slavery at a young age and doesn't remember much about her home town. The women of Setessa stopped the slavers as then attempted to cross their lands and saved her from the chains, of which she still keeps a piece, and brought her into the polis to become one of theirs. She was raised by the previous Commander of Ophis Tower and grew into a fierce warrior.

Failures & Embarrassments
Though she would never admit it, she was Captivated by a romantic interest. She had a torrid love affair that she will not give the details about because it didn't end well. She fell for a follower of Nylea, a beautiful, young woman, who turned out to be a Nymph. They shared many days together but the Nymph was unable to continue their relationship because she was called home (to the Fae Realm) for some reason that she did not tell Kallias. To this day, Kallias looks into the Nessian Wood in hopes that she'll see a glimpse of her.

She is very slow to trust because of her past experiences with slavery. Has a hard time seeing the good in the world.
