General Summary
9th of Reng'we
The group finally gets to the inn and Chapman reveals his true form to everyone.
Chapman and Cave both reveal some backstory and if his story is true, Cave is the legendary "naked man of Brightport".
Cave is contacted by his canary/demon familiar Bastard who tells him that Harmon Hale has come to the mine to break things and cause a ruckus.
Cave takes control of Bastard and threatens Hale, intimidating his men by bursting into a cloud of insects.
Hale and his men retreat and Bastard is tasked with stealthily following them back to their own mine.
10th of Reng'we
Before sunrise, a knock at the door alerts the party to town guards outside looking to escort them to meet Chapman's debt holder.
The guards, one of whom is identified as Timothy (or Timothor to his coworkers) takes them to an eatery down the street where they are introduced to Joseph Clamato, leader of the local "mob".
Linda strikes a deal with Clamato to have some of his men assist them with Harmon Hale and in return, they will pay Chapman's debt in rubies and perhaps form a solid business partnership for the future.
