Arc 4 - Episode 19, Vanguard
The Beat of Change
General Summary
The group prepares to cross the bridge and notices that there are symbols of all the gods emblazoned on it. A large, double-doored, windowless building is at the far end.
When the drums kick back in, lights flash as sound ripples from the doorway.
When the group enters, they notice statue representations of each god, most are smashed to pieces and a large lever on the far wall. The outer doors look to have been smashed open from the inside so something could get out.
Yegman wanders over and pulls on the lever. The doors close as much as they can and the remaining statues (Alviryn, Melora and Vecna) animate. These would seem to be actual responsive versions of the deities who tell the party about a couple of demigods that escaped, a plan for the gods to merge with the demons and some sort of reset for the world.
The party is given a set of necklaces, each with the symbol of one of the gods.
