Maurel Lander

Overview

Maurel Lander was born into a family of mercenaries who operated in and around Ymir's Bay. From a young age, he was trained in the art of warfare and honed his combat skills on the battlefield.
When he came of age, Maurel took over the family business and quickly proved himself to be a capable and ruthless leader. He expanded the company, recruiting the finest warriors from across the land, and earned a reputation for completing even the most difficult and dangerous missions.
Eventually, Maurel moved the company's main branch to the village of Skagmarsh, where, he found his wife, Mia. Over the next 20 years, the company's barrack, Lander Estate and Maurel's family all grew. With the Mia and Lander having a total of 5 children with the couple also adopting 4 of their mercenaries into the family.
As the patriarch of the Lander mercenary company, Maurel commanded respect and fear from his men and his enemies alike. He was known for his tactical brilliance and his willingness to do whatever it took to achieve victory.
Despite his ruthless reputation, Maurel was also known for his loyalty to his men. He would go to great lengths to protect them and ensure their safety, and they, in turn, would follow him into battle without hesitation. However, this loyalty is tied to ones prowess. Those that fail to do their duty or shy away from it are often disregarded by Maurel, as happened with his daughter Ricola who was not skilled enough in combat for Maurel's liking.

Appearance

Maurel is a rugged and imposing figure. He stands tall, with broad shoulders and a muscular frame that betrays his years of training and combat experience. His thick, jet-black hair is cut short, and it frames his chiseled jawline and piercing gaze.
He has a confident and commanding presence, and he carries himself with the air of a seasoned warrior. His eyes are dark and intense, and they seem to take in every detail of his surroundings. His mouth is set in a grim line, and his brow is furrowed, as if he is always ready for whatever challenges may come his way.His strong build and thick black hair make him a powerful and imposing figure, and he is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
