The Shattered Tooth Isle
The Shattered Tooth Isles is large Archipelago East of Waldermore. The Archipelago used to be a single Large Island, until it shattered apart around the time of the Great Calamity. Now Disparate Islands, most of small dwarven, Elven, or Human groups, and some completely Isolated. The whole Archipelago is shrouded in Mystery. The First Colony From The Mainland was the Karpagian Colony of "Victoria" which was located on the South-Eastern Island of Omelas.
Geography
A Series of Small Islands, none of them form a classic Chain. The Islands were originally a single Island from over 800 Years ago. When The Island Shattered, the Fragments blew Eastward and separated. The Larger Islands like Omelas, Crispa, Eltranka, and Zerria, were all the most fertile locations, forming the base of the once large Mount Febrie. Now The Mountain is separated, with most of the Base remaining on Eltranka, and the Summit reforming on Omelas.
Ecosystem
The Climate of the Islands remains Relatively Temperate, Areas with Parts of the Mount Febrie (Eltranka, Crispa, Omelas, and Zerria)
Natural Resources
The Forests separated from the Islands are mostly Oak. These Forests are lush of Deer, Boar, Owlbear and Manticores. While Manticores are Rare, they are often Hunted for their Pelts and Fine Meats.
Mount Febrie is Known to have Resources from the Common Iron, Copper, and Even Gemstones like Diamond and Sapphire. a Rare, Deep level Resource is Iridium. While rare, it is the most expensive Export From the Island and leads to potential "Iridium Rushes" to Eltranka and Zerria to find the mostly untapped veins of Iridium
History
Long ago, The Archipelago was once One Island, in between the Penninsula of Current day Waldermore and The Island of Norhallow. This Massive Island was home to the Dwarves of Mount Febrie and the Wood Elves of the Surrounding woods. But, around the time of the Great Calamity, Mount Febrie Hatched an egg. Within the Base of the Mountain, a Dragon Egg Hatched, and spewed forth the Red Dragon, Rebrum. When Rebrum Came too and flew, the Island shattered into jagged smaller Islands. Many who survived the Wrath of Rebrum and the Moving of Land, Reformed secular Communities and renamed smaller islands. 3 Islands each maintained a chunk of the Mountain, and formed a Jagged tooth look when sailors approached. This led to the First explorers to name the archipelago the "Shattered tooth Isles" the 4 Largest Islands, Omelas, Zerria, and Eltranka, maintained the most fertile land where Communities have grown. The others, Had forests and Fauna to hunt. in the year 825, The first Colony of the Island was established. Named "Victoria" after the Former Duke of Karpagia, on the Island of Omelas. The Colony began an emergence of Human intervention on the Island. Most Colonies are lost on the island, either raided by Pirates, outmatched by Local Communities, or lost without a trace, Victoria is the only Colony that has made a lasting impression, but that may be soon to pass.
Tourism
The Biggest Areas used on the Island are Fort Eltranka and Victoria. Fort Eltranka was a Former Abby for Dis Pater, the God of Death and the Open Sea. Dis Pater's Abby was eventually abandoned due to Numerous Raidings from Pirates and Local Tribes, that eventually led to the Fort being occupied by an Outfit of Pirates known as the "Ranver Sina" a Group of Pirates who often Look for work that requires either high payment from the buyer, or freedom to take on Rich Vessels. The only safe area for Tourism is the Community of Victoria, with it's "Civilized" formation, the island is well protected port that can be used as a safe harbor spot for transit between the Country of Norhallow, and the Continent of Valeria.
