Cherubum

Little flying monsters that look like babies or small children; their stomachs are actually massive mouths filled with razor sharp teeth that they use to kill and devour their victims. Believed to be a demonic leftover, these Cherubum travel in small flocks of five to ten, and are attracted to centers of civilization. They and attempt to lure the unwary into ambushes with the sounds that mimic children in distress.
