Born of Prehistoric Myth
It has never strictly been proven that the White actually exists. Throughout the ages, the combined efforts of astrobiologists, philosophers, clerics, and sorcerers probably amounts to hundreds of lifetimes' worth of research and debate regarding the White. Outside of academic circles, ancient oral traditions from across the world record a vast and colourful variety of prehistorically inherited
myths and legends. These fables tend either to be unique to each culture, or if they are more ubiquitous, they tend to differ in the details to better reflect a people and their place. One fable remains steadfastly the same across every sprawling city and every desolate crevice: the fable of the White.
