History
During a time of absolutely terrible leadership, Lymeric was for lack of a better word dying. The rulers were inept, out of touch and didn't seem to care about the situation. People started to thieving to survive. Robbing each other back and forth day after day. The people left with money started hiring the thieves to steal stuff for them so they could pawn off. The plan was an amazing success and put money back into the city. After the ruling class was thrown out, the thieves were legitimatized and inducted as a formal thieves guild. Going by the name Locksteps.
