Glimmer Fig

Government

Glimmer Fig is led by their council of elders. They'll discuss taxes, restrictions, political leanings, trade, social norms or any other subject the citizens deem necessary for the council to chime in on.

Defences

The Satyrs use tricks to their advantage. Their self carvings are incredibly lifelike and when they have fair warning they place them all over town and hide amongst them. They strike out from hiding and then hide again. They also set traps around their town, and have the Ghost-Horn's for reinforcement if they need it.

Industry & Trade

Glimmer Fig is full of merchants and craftsmen who trade lots of things. The most requested items are white fur and items made from their surrounding forests. Which have golden sparkles embedded in them from constant leaks of tree sap and honey. There is an abnormal amount of bees in the Glimmer Forest which have almost made beekeeping a necessity.

Tourism

When people visit Glimmer Fig they do so on account of the fast talking merchants, sometimes not even to buy. Their banter and bartering skill has become known around the circle, and people come expecting to laugh off all attempts, but usually leave a few coins short from when they arrived. There's also the statues with exquisite detail all around the town and in the forests. The locals will play with tourists by hiding nearby and speaking as if they're stuck inside the statues. The Glitter forest itself brings in visitors who get to see tree bark and honey dripped trees refract the sunlight. They often come to find a piece of goldbark, goldbark is a piece of bark so heavy with sap and honey it falls off the tree. It usually falls off in a weird pattern that looks like art, so people love it. The biggest draw and the biggest disappointment is the chance to see one of the Ghost-Horns. The all white satyrs who live in the forever frost north of Glimmer Fig. The Ghost-Horns never come, but it doesn't deter their fans hoping for one glimpse.

Architecture

Most are their homes are log cabins, their older homes use glittering wood while the newer ones use regular tree logs.

Natural Resources

The wood from their glitter forest go for high prices, its most frequently used to create decorative armor, but they use regular wood for their common crafts. Sometimes they package enough honey to sell, but it's not a high priority for them. They aren't really miners so they don't touch the mountain. But they will hire workers to mine it for them if they need it.
