Firewall

There's a general north-to-south trend of increasing temperatures in Theoma, and that trend just doesn't stop at the edge of habitability. The far south theomes - the ones past habitability - are called the Firewall theomes. Whereas the Deathwall that makes up the northern edge of Theoma is uninhabited, the Firewall theomes are very definitely inhabited, but the people dwelling in the Firewall theomes are all intelligent fire elementals.

Very few of the Firewall land gods are known, and none of them are known to maintain a Fate Beacon. Without beacons affecting Theoma and with uniformly unlivable climates, the Firewall theomes are for most purposes just Missing theomes, like the Deathwall theomes are. It is not known if there are any 'hidden jewel' theomes in the Firewall. General expectation among inquisitive geomancers is that there are plenty of hidden jewels in the Firewall theomes... if you're capable of living in enchanted wastelands of everburning fire. Which is to say, the limited contact with the fire elemental society that lives in the Firewall theomes suggests that they have plenty of great favorite theomes, but they're preciously hard to share with anyone from the "frigid" theomes - which is what everything outside the Firewall seems like to a fire elemental civilization!

Most interaction between the people of Theoma and the fire elementals who dwell south of their world occurs at "The Embassy", a civilized island that's a bit too cold for fire elementals and a bit too hot for everyone else, which juts out from the Firewall band between Kanjamund and Reytas. (Note to self, move this to its own article as the Atlas develops.)
