Benevolent Theomes
Some of the land gods love people very much, and want to rule over populous pieces of paradise. Those are the "Benevolent" land gods, and their territories are called "Benevolent Theomes". Although the exact details vary depending on the mores and preferences of the specific land god, every rock in a benevolent theome is in some way intended to help people live more prosperously within it.
A few of the land gods love to be praised by grateful dwellers of paradise and set up their own small faiths in the modest territory of their specific theome. However, many of the benevolent land gods spurn worship and seek little deification, with some even going so far as to hide their name and presence. Such humble concealment is the subject of some controversy however, as doing so also hides the Fate influences in the territory. The common stance is to parlay with Querent-Querent and establish what each benevolent theome seeks to achieve in terms of an idealized paradise influence.
Fate's Fond Advocates
Using the archives of Querent-Querent (and even perhaps hired consultation from geomancers), it's possible for many people to find Benevolent theomes that will create Fates for them which influence them in ways that they wish to be influenced. Fate is NEVER a consciously-mediated influence for anyone except geomancers who've cast spells to examine it, but it varies from quiet mind control in some theomes to an imperceptible tilt in others, and Querent-Querent knows the difference. People who believe in the ideals of a given Benevolent land god are quite grateful to have their resilience supported.
