Ecall Downs

Ecall Downs is a small valley situated between the Howling Hills and the Locela Hills. Uniquely situated to have significant rainfall as well as to shed it into Lake Ramieé, life grows abundantly in this valley. Not only does plant life flourish, but an entire ecosystem has sprung up here where normally nothing so vibrant would exist. This valley is so lush that when humanoids discovered it they had a hard time navigating through its unique underbrush and eventually gave up on piercing the veil of greenery. Legend has it that Ecall Downs would be the most logical place for any incredible creature to hail from since very few sentient beings have ever ventured into the valley and returned. None of those who have entered have been confirmed dead... could it be that within the valley lies a better way to exist? Or is it simply that when one is consumed by the center of nature itself they are not meant to be found again?
