Dragonspice

Dragonspice is a red and yellow powder form drug that can either be fun and whimsical or a powerful hallucinogen. The difference is determined by the form of the drug. Inhaled dragonspice produces interesting effects in the user, while some have discovered that intravenously it can cause psychotic episodes.

Manufacturing process

First, the water from the Sea of Dreams must be evaporated in order to isolate the salt. Then, the salt is melted and poured into a mold that forms a hollow sphere. The ground crystals from the Furnace Waste are then deposited inside, lighting a fire inside the hollow sphere. The Draconic item is then added to the blaze, and the magic from the spell slot must be added as the fire is burning inside. When that happens, the magical power causes the other three ingredients to instantaneously combine and fall into a granular form, which can then be inhaled or dissolved in a liquid to be administered intravenously.

Raw materials & Components

  • Salt from the Sea of Dreams
  • Ground crystals from the Furnace Waste
  • Something of Draconic origin (either scales, droppings, body parts, or something created by a Dragon). This can also be attained using the eyes of a Draconic species such as Kobolds or Dragonborn.
