Griffon
Avvar
Griffons have a reputation: selfish, greedy, and even cruel. Although this may be well earned in some respects (as Griffon culture encourages Griffons to think of themselves first and always make sure that they get before they give), Griffons also have a great capacity for kindness and can, like almost every creature in Thedastria, learn the ways of friendship and harmony.
Most Griffons live in the Frostback Mountains, a steep mountain range that divides Orlais and Feralden. Although the Frostbacks are cold and unforgiving, all Griffons feel a connection with their hometown.
Apart from flight, Griffons also bring their ferocious talons to a team, making them quite the force to reckoned with.
